This painting, Yachts at Sunset, captures one of my favorite themes - reflections and light on water. I created it using impasto technique, applying rich oil paints with a palette knife to build depth and texture. The yachts are moored gently in the glowing light of the setting sun, and their shimmering reflections dance on the surface of the water. I hope this scene brings the same sense of serenity and beauty to your space that it brought to me while painting it.
